Customer Service Representative

Auckland | Full Time | 40 Hours per Week

We're looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our growing International Freight team based in Auckland.

As part of Sorted Logistics, a trusted provider of end-to-end logistics solutions across New Zealand, you'll be joining a business focused on delivering exceptional service and creating seamless supply chain experiences for our customers.

Following the recent expansion of our business, this role will initially support a dedicated international freight forwarding division that specialises in import, export, airfreight, seafreight, customs clearance, warehousing and supply chain solutions.

As the operational point of contact for customers, you'll be responsible for coordinating international shipments from beginning to end, ensuring every shipment is handled accurately, efficiently, and with exceptional customer service.

 What you'll be doing

• Managing international import and export shipments from booking through to delivery
• Liaising with customers, overseas agents, transport providers, shipping lines and airlines
• Coordinating documentation and shipment milestones
• Providing proactive updates and resolving customer queries
• Ensuring compliance with Customs, MPI and industry requirements
• Managing shipment data and job costing within CargoWise
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Working closely with internal operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  

What we're looking for

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Previous experience in international freight forwarding
• Strong knowledge of both import and export operations
• Experience using CargoWise
• Understanding of shipping terms and Incoterms
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach
