Looking for a role where no two days are the same? We're seeking a reliable and practical Casual Maintenance Assistant to support our Facilities Coordinator and General Maintenance team with a variety of tasks across our Christchurch site. This is a great opportunity for a student, intern or practical all-rounder.

About the role

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying busy, being out and about, and helping keep our site in great condition. Work will be available on an as-needed basis during normal weekday business hours.

 

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with general maintenance tasks
• Performing basic repairs and upkeep around our sites
• Building and assembling furniture, shelving and equipmentYard and grounds maintenance
• Painting, signage installation and site improvements
• Collecting and transporting supplies between locations
• Supporting the Facilities Coordinator with day-to-day tasks

What you'll bring

• A practical, hands-on approach to work
• Good level of physical fitness
• Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools
• A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
• Reliability and strong work ethic
• Full Class 1 licence preferred
