Warehouse Supervisor - Christchurch

We are looking for two motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisors to report to the Warehouse Manager on the day shift. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in driving team performance, maintaining safety standards, and supporting daily operational success.

About the role
Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, you will lead and encourage your team, ensure a safe work environment, and guarantee all operational functions run smoothly. You’ll oversee training delivery, manage equipment effectively, and ensure compliance with Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) requirements. These are permanent full-time opportunities, working predominantly Monday-Friday between 6am-3pm and 8am-5pm, with occasional weekend work required.

Your skills and attributes will demonstrate:

•  Proven experience supporting or leading a team
•  Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant supervision
• Physically fit to lift and carry heavy packages and operate various Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
• Solid knowledge of MPI procedures and compliance requirements
• Comfortable working across multiple systems and quick to learn new tools
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
•  A supportive leadership style that encourages team growth and development
•  MPI-approved AP license and Forklift OSH certification
• First Aid Certificate is highly desirable

Preference will be given to candidates with logistics or warehousing experience.
